Showroom
Charlestowne's Showroom will inspire and invigorate even the creatively challenged, who recognize the need for an updating of their current home (or the building of a new one) but have no idea where to begin. Our lushly appointed displays will ignite that beginning spark, and our professionals can take it from there. We have many beautifully decorated room-like vignettes with an endless variety of materials from which to choose.

When entering our doors you can expect both a warm welcome and the following from one of our experienced Design Consultants:
  • An inquiry about your needs. It is helpful but not necessary to bring a rough sketch of the room needing a remodel/or a blueprint of the room under new construction. Additional pictures help to convey style preferences.
  • A description of the services which Charlestowne is able to offer.
  • A complete tour of our showroom, featuring a variety of room-like settings and styles.
  • An introduction to our major cabinet suppliers - Crystal, Kitchen Craft, KraftMaid and Cardell.
  • An introduction to the various types of countertops available - granite, marble, solid surfaces, quartz surfacing, and laminates. All are fabricated in our building and installed by our trained personnel.
  • An introduction to our bath systems and products.
  • A discussion of how Charlestowne might help you realize your goals.

At this point, if only product materials are needed, the Designer would arrange for a deposit and proceed to order your choices. In the case of granite, solid surface or quartz tops, a deposit would secure both the material and the installation.

If you would like to proceed further with drawings of your actual home, you would pay a design retainer and make an appointment for the Designer to visit your home to measure and discuss the existing space in detail.

After the visit and measure the Designer would develop a personalized design for presentation. Changes could be made until the plan is finalized. The Designer would then put together the pricing on all the products and labor. With agreement on both sides, terms for payment would be set, and the materials would be ordered. All the installation work would then be scheduled.

The Designer would oversee the project until it is completed. Backup people would also assist in their various areas of specialty - delivery schedulers, countertop measurers, installers, etc.

At the end of the job, the Designer would schedule a walk through with you to make sure that everything was up to your level of satisfaction. He/She would place a follow up call and continue to be available to you in the coming months.
